Andrew Taylor, AP, offers this analysis of Obama's 2011 budget proposal. The spending and deficit is only half the story, Obama wants Congress to act quickly to pass his budget, you know, job creation and all. Not sure I'm prepared to have Congress just rubber stamp a budget this inflated.
Obama promised that he "will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits, either now or in the future . . . period." Well, through a convenient double-count, the Democrats are claiming that they have accomplished the feat with cuts to Medicare and increased taxes. Read more »
